Nicci designed a cafe, Coco & The Sage where she serves what she calls “food medicine”, or healing elixirs in coffee, tea and mocktails.

She closed the original location in her Haleʻiwa, Cocoʻs Trading Post shop and is currently constructing the new farm location. Here she will do a farm version of this concept featuring true farm to mocktails and farm to table small plates.

From 2015-2025 Nicci operated the retail shops, Coco’s Trading Post
~Her shops in Kailua and Haleʻiwa (and online) are now closed.
~She plans on morphing this island lifestyle retail concept into a new format soon. For now they live on in all of our beloved memories.
~The store provided a wide variety of vintage items, home decor, furniture pieces, and gifts.
~The shop was meant to bring “modern aloha” into your home.
~We supported the artist of Hawaii selling art and jewelry from our favorite makers.
~I brought in the metaphysical section- crystals, soul medicine books, smoke, sound, energy tools and decks. I called this section Hina Healing. durning Covid. This help the island people heal with .”

“I started redesigning my childhood home before 10. Said I would grow up to be a designer.
at 11 i taught myself how to sew in my garage. i started my first business at 16 sewing clothing. i had a love for fabrics. i kept my sewing business until i was 36.
i moved into the interior design world, working for a design firm. began working with the owner on all her projects. designing, space planning, container loading, job ordering, power points, proposals etc. i wrote the business plan for their retail store and then opened it and ran it. i had a natural affinity to all things around design and business. i learned skills there that would aid me in my own design studio and then retail store.
when i am In my creative world, I am a visionary of a space. I see things in my minds eye, and aim to bring the vision to life. I apply the idea of alchemy to space. changing the energy to be more cohesive, to flow and to quench the soul. i want to create spaces that bring peace and joy.”
