Nicci Lee is a multifaceted creative whose work spans design in interiors, fashion, furniture, and florals.

Intuitive and innovative, Nicci Lee uses her Hawaiian roots and extensive world travels to inspire her work and life. She is an interior designer, designs furniture, creates floral arrangements, an advocate for sustainable production, and a philanthropist.

The best part of owning a business is having control of how operations run and that all involved are respected and protected, including Mother Earth. She is selective on who she works with and makes sure that things are done in alignment with her mission. She loves that the work she does allows her to be creative while also supporting others.

As a designer she works closely with her client in a collaborative effort. You’ll often hear her say, “The home is an expression of a person’s sense of style.“ That belief has given her the ability to transform people’s homes according the function and look they are looking for. She has an incredible ability to adapt her style to meet the client’s needs. The proof is in her portfolio.

Much of the furniture she designs is influenced by vintage tropical design. The way she mixes the texture of the wood and fabric can create a sleek look or more of a casual beachy vibe. She designs for a wide variety of taste and can even create customized furniture for clients. She has built relationships in Bali to be able to supply furniture that is sustainably produced and handmade.

Coco’s Trading Post, her shop in Kailua (and online), is where she sells her own unique designs as well as featuring other local artisans. The store provides a wide variety of vintage items, home decor, furniture pieces, and gifts for the special people in your life. The shop is meant to bring “modern aloha” into your home.

Nicci also works hard so that she has resources to give back. She has started Hina Healing which brings women together to have classes, events, and ceremonies. Giving a space for women to heal from trauma and also just to support one another has always been a cause close to her heart.
